Peer Reviewer Process

Jurnal Peneliti using the process double-blind peer review to ensure the quality and objectivity of published articles. In this process, the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential from each other. The following are the stages in the peer review process:

  1. Manuscript Submission
    Authors upload their manuscripts through the online journal management system. Submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by the editorial team to ensure that they are in line with the journal's focus and scope and that they adhere to the writing guidelines.

  2. Initial Check by Editor
    The editor will conduct an initial review of the manuscript to verify originality, relevance, and technical compliance. Manuscripts that do not meet basic standards may be rejected at this stage or returned to the author for revision.

  3. Appointment of Reviewer
    Manuscripts that pass the initial review will be sent to two independent reviewers who have expertise in the related field. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and experience.

  4. Process Review
    Reviewers will evaluate manuscripts based on criteria such as originality, methodology, scientific contribution, validity of data, and clarity of presentation. Reviewers may make one of the following recommendations:

    • Accepted without revision.
    • Accepted with minor revisions.
    • Accepted with major revisions.
    • Rejected.

  5. Editorial Decision
    The editor will review the feedback from the reviewers and make a final decision on the manuscript, whether to accept, return for revision, or reject. This decision will be communicated to the author along with the reviewers' comments.

  6. Revision by Author
    Authors are given a certain amount of time to revise the manuscript based on the feedback from reviewers and editors. The revised manuscript can be resubmitted for further review by reviewers, if necessary.

  7. Publishing
    Manuscripts that meet all the requirements will enter the final editing stage (copyediting) before being officially published.

Confidentiality and Ethics

We uphold confidentiality throughout the peer review process. Reviewers and editors are prohibited from using information in manuscripts for personal gain.
