Publication Ethics

Jurnal Peneliti is committed to maintaining integrity and ethics throughout the publication process. We refer to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines to ensure that all parties involved in the publication process—editors, authors, and reviewers—act professionally and ethically.

Editor's Duties

  1. Publication Decisions
The editor is responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal should be published based on their academic merit, novelty and relevance.
  2. Confidentiality
Editors must keep submitted manuscripts confidential and not disclose any information to anyone other than the author, reviewers, and the relevant editorial team.
  3. Impartiality
Editors are required to process each manuscript without regard to the author's gender, religion, ethnicity, or institutional affiliation.
  4. Avoiding Conflicts of Interest
Editors must not use information from submitted manuscripts for personal advantage.

Author's Duties

  1. Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must ensure that the submitted work is original and free from plagiarism.
  2. Acknowledgement of Sources
Authors must include relevant citations or references for all data and ideas that are not their own work.
  3. Authorship
All individuals involved in the research and writing of the article should be listed as authors, while those who made additional contributions may be acknowledged as acknowledged.
  4. Conflict of Interest Disclosure
Authors must disclose any funding sources or conflicts of interest that might influence the results of the research.
  5. Revisions and Corrections
Authors are required to respond to reviewer comments in a professional and timely manner.

Reviewer Duties

  1. Contribution to Editorial Decisions
Reviewers assist editors in determining the suitability of articles for publication through objective evaluation of the research.
  2. Confidentiality
Reviewers should keep manuscripts they review confidential and not discuss them with others.
  3. Objectivity
Reviews should be conducted objectively without any personal bias towards the author.
  4. Acknowledgement of Sources
Reviewers should identify relevant sources or references not cited by the authors.
  5. Avoiding Conflicts of Interest
Reviewers should decline to review a manuscript if there is a potential conflict of interest with the authors or the research.

Ethical Violation

Jurnal Peneliti will take any alleged violation of publication ethics, including plagiarism, data manipulation, or copyright infringement, seriously. Possible actions include article withdrawal, reporting to relevant institutions, or other sanctions in accordance with journal policy.

By establishing this policy, we hope that all parties can work together to maintain trust and credibility in the scientific publication process.
