Plagiarism Policy

Jurnal Peneliti is committed to maintaining scientific integrity and quality through a strict policy against plagiarism. We consider plagiarism a serious violation of publication ethics and will take firm action against manuscripts suspected of plagiarism.

Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Copying part or all of another person's work without proper acknowledgement.
  2. Using ideas, data, or information from another source without proper citation or reference.
  3. Submitting a manuscript that has been previously published elsewhere as an original work.

Plagiarism Check

All submitted manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection software (such as Turnitin, iThenticate, or other relevant tools) to ensure originality. We apply a maximum tolerance limit of 20% for text similarity, except for quotations, references, or common phrases.

Action against Violations

If indications of plagiarism are found, the following steps will be taken:

  1. Minor Violations
Authors will be asked to revise the manuscript and provide appropriate acknowledgement.
  2. Serious Violations
Manuscripts will be rejected immediately and authors may be subject to additional sanctions, such as a ban on future submissions to this journal.

If plagiarism is detected after the article is published, we reserve the right to retract the article and announce the official withdrawal.

Author's Commitment

Authors who submit articles to Jurnal Riset declare that the work is original and does not contain any elements of plagiarism. With this, the author is also responsible for any ethical violations found later.

This policy is implemented to ensure trust and credibility in scientific publications published by Jurnal Peneliti.
